At Groengroep, we design and create gardens in all conceivable styles, for individual and business customers. A garden must always be made to suit you: your business or home, your family composition and your lifestyle. That is why we place a high value on creating a sustainable foundation. Once that is done, we can easily create the garden in accordance with your wishes, and change it as what you want alters over the course of time.
Our team of enthusiastic and knowledgeable landscape gardeners are keen to work with you to design your garden. Would you prefer zero maintenance, or do you have green fingers? Do you like straight lines or can things be freer? Do you want a garden to look at or one to play in? We discuss all this and more during our first meeting, so that we get a good idea of the garden you’ve been dreaming about.

About Groengroep
Groengroep has been designing, landscaping and maintaining gardens for more than forty years. In 2020, Gerben and Lisette van Dolder took over the company from its founders.
As the son of a tree farmer, Gerben grew up surrounded by greenery and was imbued with an entrepreneurial spirit. After training to be a gardener, he began his career at Groengroep, where he learned the tricks of the trade. Later he spread his wings and started his own gardening business. When the owners of Groengroep decided they wanted to stop, they quickly approached Gerben, and he jumped at the chance.
Since taking over, Gerben has led the Groengroep team together with his wife Lisette. Gerben focuses on implementation: from designing gardens to building and maintaining them. Lisette, whose background is in social work and service delivery, focuses more on HR, communication and service delivery. Both really value the team’s immense engagement and expertise, and the atmosphere around the team, which has allowed Groengroep to grow like never before.

This has been the mission for all the gardens, large and small, that we have designed, built and maintained since our foundation in 1981.
At Groengroep, we leverage our creativity and expertise to create the gardens you have been dreaming of. Sometimes, the ideas are only clearly formed once our garden architects get something down on paper. Through continual communication with our customers, we keep sharpening the outlines of a plan, until everyone is clear what the final result should look like.
We love our profession and are dedicated to high quality and sustainability. We work in a careful and responsible way with our customers, our colleagues and our planet. That is why we always begin with a carefully crafted design, so that the garden can grow with our customers over a number of years. The Groene Hart
We are based in Boskoop, a proud village that is internationally renowned as the epicentre of floriculture. We have built up our knowledge and experience in the surrounding area, in the middle of the Groene Hart (Green Heart), and thus centrally located in the Randstad. Of course, we deliver equally special garden projects outside this area, but when we do so, we still make grateful use of the riches of greenery that Boskoop provides.
From urban garden to rural garden, from roof garden to green facade, from a company garden that offers sustainable greenery to a modern garden with powerful lines and subtle details: whatever you are looking for, our architects and landscape gardeners can deliver the perfect solution.
